Every girl aspires to dress up to her nines, however, the suntanned body, dreadful streaks and marks land you up with a body only your mother can love.  Summers call for pool parties bordering with unwanted suntan, isn’t it? Revivify your skin, allow it to breathe and pass through the scorching heat resurrecting with your original skin shade. Concoction: Gram flour + Yogurt + Turmeric


Have you been advised that you can bleach and scrub twice a fortnight barely? Why don’t you try the aforesaid concoction? All you need to do is to put in order a mixture of gram flour, yogurt and turmeric. It’s a perfect mishmash of bleaching and scrubbing which you can execute twice or thrice a week. Gram flour helps your skin breathe, yogurt aids in renewing the original color of your skin and turmeric facilitates in removing those dreadful spots and marks.

2 tablespoons of gram flour

1 teaspoon of turmeric

2 tablespoons of yogurt

Powdered & dried: Orange peels face pack


Are you observing your skin a bit darker than it originally was and do you want the former glow yet again? Apply powdered and dried orange peels pack. Orange peels are rich in vitamin C, do not dispose them off rather dry the peels and churn them in the grinder. Apply the powder on your face. Leave it on for 30 minutes and douse off with cold water. Orange peels face pack helps tighten your skin, slows down skin-aging and renews the former glow.

Peels of 4 oranges

5 tablespoons of cold water

Concoction: Cucumber juice + Lime juice


Cucumber helps in pacifying your skin and letting it breathe. The cooling effect cucumber is blazed with, helps to revivify the suntan. Rich in vitamin C, it sends brightness down your spine and aids in making you look spanking fresh. You need to mix the cucumber juice with lime juice. Blend a pinch of turmeric to it. Apply the concoction on the tanned skin and leave it on for 30 minutes. Swab it off with chilled water.

2 tablespoons of fresh cucumber juice

1 tablespoon of lime juice

Pinch of turmeric

Blended: OatMeal + Raw Milk + Honey


Oatmeal performs as innate scrub that exfoliates skin and removes the dead skin. Raw milk is an excellent agent to heal blisters and acne marks. Blended with honey, it can also remove blackheads if applied on the face. You have to to mix oatmeal with raw milk and honey. Once it becomes a blended pack, apply it on the face and body. Massage the suntanned areas in spherical motion and leave it on for 20 minutes. Cleanse with cold water.

2 tablespoons of oatmeal

3 tablespoons of raw milk

1 tablespoon of honey

  1. Rinse your face 5 times a day. *with cold water*

  3. Soak your face with soft towel. *cotton preferably*
  4. Apply sunscreen whenever you’re out for a day out. *Cerave SPF 50 sunscreen body lotion, 3.0 ounce OR Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Face wash gel, 80g* (economical)
  5. Apply the aforementioned do-it-yourself self tanners. *twice a week*
