NEW GIRL IN THE CITY!

Well! It is safe to say that there are innumerable blogs with similar titles or perhaps, the clichéd movie scene of Wake Up Sid with the similar title but this isn’t a Bollywood movie; instead it’s about the new girl in a new city. With aspirations and ambitions she entered the portals of the city wanting to explore her life & live her dream.

Indore- Had it been a different city, I wouldn’t have felt jittery but this particular city makes me weak down the spine and sends jitters awakening my senses. I indulged my inner geek to get serious and pen down my actual feelings about the city, its people and the entire experience till now.

It’s been over one and a half month since I am here at Indore, everything has been different. It’s just like living my dream, scared and petrified by the very thought of waking up from the dream; not wanting it to end. With its savouring food-joints and old-school charm, Indore has been the backdrop to many of the food-freaks and one of the very best places to get your hands on the rich heritage and culture of the country with beautifully built palaces and temples. Accredited as the Food Lovers paradise, not everyone would swear by the food they get back home and the speciality of the corner shops.

The city is welcoming with polite and well-bred people. Perhaps, I somehow had to end up in this Food Lovers paradise because my heart belongs here and I am a foodie too. With my one-and-only residing in the city, it is my fate which landed me at Indore. God makes all things possible. But we are indeed the masters of our fate and I made efforts to land up where I am meant to be.

It was an opportunity for me to follow the secret of my heart’s desire and pursue my dreams. Detested by many but loved by more… I started my journey to live an entirely different life in a completely new city. It was written that I should be loyal to the nightmare of my choice which happened to convert into a fairy-tale. #TouchWood . . .  when it comes to life, we spin our own yarn, and where we end up is really, in fact, where we always intended to be.

Some things are destined to be … it just takes us a couple of tries to get there & the new girl was welcomed wholeheartedly in the new city witnessing new experiences each day and battling new challenges with a hope to never let this fairy-tale end. To follow my heart’s desire and live my life, to pursue my dreams and build a future with the man I intend to spend my future with. #IronyOfMyLife #LivingTheLifeOfRiley
